I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in this years Race Week, it was a fantastic event and not just because of our results!

I would especially like to thank the J24 Bermuda Class for inviting us and for organising such a great event both on and off the water

Hope to see you next year.

Thanks Nigel

Posted on behalf of Dale Robertson:

Well, for me at least this was definitely the best BIRW yet, and not only due to a finish place that wasn't embarrassing. Weather was fabulous (except for the last day which wasn't even really that bad), wind wasn't blowing a dog off a chain, everyone was as friendly and hospitable as can be imagined (as usual), the RC did a fabulous job and the regatta and J24 Class organizers were superbly organized.

Many, many thanks once more from all 5 teams who visited from Atlantic Canada.

At the Bacardi party:
The Canadian J crews showed great tactical form by cornering all the food waiters - the Bermuda teams showed better experience by cornering all the bar staff. The Brits were caught between - the middle never pays!
